The Story Behind ParentingWithEva
The turning point began with my nine-year-old son. After receiving birthday money, he spent it quickly on sweets and small toys that didn’t last. When it was gone, I realized he hadn’t been careless; he had never been taught how to think about money. That moment opened my eyes deeply.
As I began teaching him about saving and thoughtful spending, another realization surfaced. I was struggling with my own confidence. I asked myself: if I feel unsure inside, how can I raise a confident child? That question pushed me to reflect, heal, and rebuild parts of myself.
Through that journey, I learned children absorb who we are, not just what we say. They watch how we handle money, mistakes, and emotions.
